SUNDAY WORSHIP  11am

Come and join us for a friendly and informal worship service. Doors open from 10.45am.
Week by week we gather to praise God, study the Bible and spend time with each other. We welcome people of all ages and involve children during the service. Our services are accessible to anyone who would like to come and explore the Christian faith.

OUR HANDS SERMON SERIES

As we come out of the pandemic, where touch and use of our hands has become so restricted, it is a good time to revisit what the Bible says about the hands of Jesus reaching out to us, and how we can use our hands to reach out to others.

The current Sunday sermon series is based on Bible passages where hands are used in different ways. Since Easter we moved on from Jesus' hands and we focus on our own hands till Pentecost. On our weekly Wednesday Wonders we reflect together on these themes.

COVID SAFETY
DURING CHURCH WORSHIP

As Covid infection rates are still high in Oxford, we are strongly encouraging people to still wear masks in church and to give their contact details on arrival. Jane Jones has kindly agreed to be our 'Doorkeeper' to ensure people wear masks on arrival and sign in on arrival.

WEDNESDAY WONDERS
BIBLE GROUP

5.30pm - 7pm | All welcome to reflect and ‘wonder’ with one another, about the sermon and readings from the previous Sunday. We meet during term time and start with some food at 5:30pm. The Bible study starts at 6pm and pray for each other at the end. We look at it with fresh eyes, so it is ok if you haven’t been to the service or church before – you’ll be warmly welcomed at St Luke's with a hot meal and a chance for us to experience God’s fellowship and word together.

FRIDAY MORNING PRAYERS

9.30am - 10am | A chance to find stillness at the beginning of the day with a Bible reading and some prayer time. Sometimes we use a Celtic liturgy. Email stlukesoxford@hotmail.com for more details.

MONTHLY EVENING WORSHIP

6pm - 7pm | Every last Sunday of the month | we join St Matthews for a time of informal worship. Email stlukesoxford@hotmail.com for details
above all,
clothe yourself with love
forgive one another
as He’s forgiven you

and let the peace of Christ
rule in your hearts

give thanks in his name
whatever you do
be filled with the Spirit
speaking to yourselves
in psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs

singing and making melody
in your hearts to the Lord
